Instagram Story
A lot of the campaigns I have brainstormed and executed were used using Instagram's story feature. Instagram Story is a great way to interact with fans in a fun, engaging way, while also ushering them to check out the BD website. Furthermore, I assisted in the "Thank You for Coming to Broadway" coverage, which features shows that are playing in theatres under the Nederlander Organization, and live coverages of Broadway-related events around New York City. Check out below for some of the Instagram Story campaigns I have worked on!
National Boyfriend Day (Oct. 3rd, 2019)
Thank You for Coming to Broadway - Brooks Atkinson (Oct. 15th, 2019)
Who's This? - Halloween Costume Inspo (Oct. 25th, 2019)
I helped assemble images for the article, Halloween Tips From a Costume Designer. Using these images, I was able to create an interactive campaign for Broadway Direct followers on Instagram, while promoting and increasing traffic to the BD website.
Thank You for Coming to Broadway - Marquis (Oct. 29th, 2019)
Halloween (Oct. 31st, 2019)
Broadway "Show Globes" Installation Coverage (Nov. 1st, 2019)
The Times Square Alliance showcased four "show globes" inspired by Broadway shows from November 1st, 2019 to January 10th, 2020. I was able to cover the installation on its first day on Broadway Direct's Instagram Story.
Thank You for Coming to Broadway - Gershwin (Nov. 12th, 2019)
Thank You for Coming to Broadway - Lunt-Fontanne (Nov. 19th, 2019)
SIX Content IG Story (Dec. 8th, 2019)
Broadway Direct published an article for the upcoming, highly-anticipated musical, SIX, Everything You Need to Know About the Wives of Henry VIII. I first created a content video for the article that was featured on BD's Facebook page. I then repurposed the video to fit Instagram Story, in which many followers expressed their enthusiasm for the show.
This or That - Holiday Edition (Dec. 13th, 2019)
The "This or That" IG Story campaign has been an ongoing evergreen campaign of Broadway Direct, encouraging fans to screenshot each page and circling what they prefer. I assisted in creating a holiday version, loosely inspired by Broadway Direct's holiday guide.
2019 Broadway Cast Album Brackets (Dec.18th, 2019 - Jan. 10th, 2020)
After the 2019 Broadway Cast Album Roundup article was published on Broadway Direct, I had the idea of using these cast albums and creating a Broadway-inspired playoff brackets. The poll feature on IG Story was perfect for this campaign and we received a lot of engagement from eager fans who wanted their favorite album to win.
Thank You for Coming to Broadway (Jan. 23rd, 2020)
#TGIF Tunes (Feb. 7th, 2020)
Broadway Direct restarted its editorial series, #TGIF Tunes, in which we recommend a weekly-curated playlist. I helped promote the Spotify playlist on IG Story.
Mid-week Broadway News Round-Up (Feb. 19th, 2020)
In an attempt to increase engagement to the Broadway Direct website, I implemented a round-up of news during the mid-week, featuring news from the first half of the week on Wednesdays.
How Well Do You Know Broadway? (Feb. 21st, 2020)
I started an on-going quiz called "How Well Do You Know Broadway?," in which I covered the marquees and have followers guess which Broadway theatre it is. The quiz format on IG Story is perfect for this campaign. The first batch of this campaign generated great engagement with followers avidly guessing their favorite Broadway theatre.
Know Your Lyrics Reveal (Ongoing)
I ideated the "Know Your Lyric" campaign, where followers guess a line from a well-known Broadway song. The answer to each of these questions are revealed the next day on IG Story. This is an ongoing campaign, so these assets will be posted as needed.
